The Power of Positive Thinking is a statement that begins a story for many people facing the reality of Cancer. In November of 2006, my father, Rick Guarini was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) Brain Tumor. His physician clearly stated that his success in fighting this disease would depend on his positive attitude.  
     Now, three positive years later, my father and I have decided to take our power of positive thinking to start a new story. The story of an organization raising money that goes directly to brain cancer research.
     At this time, brain research is underfunded and the public remains unaware of the magnitude of this disease. The cure rate for most brain tumors is significantly lower than that for many other types of cancer. Each year more than 200,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with a primary or metastatic brain tumor. Timing is everything!
    Recent advances in personalized treatment and molecular medicine provide a unique opportunity to make significant leaps forward, if funds are available. Please help join our efforts to make the Power of Positive Thinking the start of a story that ends with a cure for Brain Cancer.
